For the 6th year in a row, Citadel Information Management hosted our annual shredding event, SHRED4RESCUES.
Well, when we woke up on Saturday, it was raining “cats & dogs” yet despite a little rain, we worked together and were able to securely destroy and recycle over 21,000 pounds of documents, and raise over $5,000 for the animal rescue groups that participated in the event.
Several animal rescue groups were on-site as well, with dogs and cats available for adoption.
“Each year, approximately 2.7 million dogs and cats are killed every year because shelters are too full and there aren’t enough adoptive homes. Act as a publicist for your local shelter so pets can find homes.” (Source: dosomething.org)
This year, we had the support of 6 different local animal rescue groups. Our event even helped find homes for 2 lucky furry friends! Below you can find more information on the rescue groups that attended this year…
